“ Traveling on business from Canada, I found out about this place and just had to try it. Got in a little late, but before closing, and they were welcoming and friendly. My brisket was very good, bursting with flavor that I've been hard pressed to find anywhere else. Horsey sauce was good, but pales beside the BBQ sauce. Beans were an absolute treat. The whole place was well lit and very clean, easy parking and good atmosphere. Will be back for sure. Gonna try the brats next time. Paying by card was a breeze. Thanks for lovely meal! ”
“ It was the best brisket we ever had, and when we weren't sure which slaw we would prefer since we hadn't tried mustard slaw, the lady serving was kind enough to give us a sample. Great sauces with a wide variety to choose from. We had a great experience. ”
“ The food was very good, with large portions and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and overall a memorable experience. They were churning homemade Butterfinger Icecream when we were there. I will go there again when traveling to see family. ”
“ Our first time here. I had the pork platter with baked beans and mac and cheese. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. Has room inside and out for dinning. We will definitely be coming back ”
“ Picked up some ground pork sausage and it smelled so good in there I decided to try some meat by the pound. The brisket was delish and the pulled pork was so good. The meat had such good flavors on its own that we didn’t even use the sauce that came with it. Recommend that you give it a try. It is a little out of the way but worth the drive. ”
“ Husband loved his sliced brisket sandwich, which was a very generous serving. There were three slaw options and we both loved the spicy mustard choice. I had cheese potatoes, green beans and my first hoe cake! All were delicious. The servers are so friendly and sweet. The outdoor dining area is lovely. Definitely will come back when we are nearby again. ”
“ We were not sure what to expect as it was a ways out in the country. The entire experience was a pleasant surprise Indoor and outdoor seating. The brisket was delicious. A choice of tasty sauces. ”
“ The Best BBQ I've had, and I'm originally from Texas! MI loved the baked beans as a side because there is brisket in them, and the cheesy potatoes are yummy too. 2 sauces, I used the Amish sweet. The other is vinegary. The cornbread is more of a hoe cake, and mine was cold, so I took it home to microwave it and put butter on it to have with my leftovers since the plates are enough for 2 people. PB Cake to go, and it looks delicious When I'm back in town, this will be the first place I come to. ”
